Biography
I am an evolutionary biologist interested in conflicts, and the effect of these conflicts in driving evolution. Whilst my past research aimed to highlight the importance of the gut microbiome in driving animal behaviours and in defining animal health status, my past work has studied the impact of sexual conflict in an evolutionary genetic/genomic context. I use phenotypic, genetic, genomic and chemical animal's features to examine particularly the issues of socio-sexual recognition system, reproductive system evolutions, as well as population genetic structure.
