Chronic disease epidemiologist with a specialty in the fields of tobacco, sugar, and opioids. Currently working on applying the market-driven epidemics approach to other epidemics, such as social media and firearms. Has authored scientific papers in journals such as PloS Global Public Health and journalistic pieces in TIME and The Conversation. Epidemiology Policy graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Fall of 2023.
