Biography

Biologist (2003-2006), PhD in Botany (2010-2013). Professor at the Federal Institute of Ceará, Brazil. Currently, I'm studying the effects of environmental filters (e.g. drought, high temperatures, desiccation and fire) and functional traits on the seed germination and eartly growth of neotropical savannas and forests tree species, in order to understand how climate change may modulate species distribution and vegetation dynamics in those ecosystems.
