Biography

Dr. Hanif Qureshi, IPS is an Indian Police Service officer presently serving as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Govt of India. He has been Commissioner of Police, in Panchkula and Faridabad, Haryana, India. He completed his MBA and Ph.D. (Criminology) from the University of Cincinnati, USA. His articles have been published in several US and international journals. His research interests are police organizational behavior, crime in India, positive policing, and related areas.
