Biography

Michael Glaß is Professor and Deputy Director at the Institute of Embedded Systems/Real-Time Systems at Ulm University, Germany. Michael received the Diploma and Doctorate degrees in computer science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Erlangen, Germany, in 2006 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2016, he was Assistant Professor and the Head of the System-Level Design Automation Group, Hardware/Software Co-Design, FAU. His current research interests include dependability engineering for embedded systems and system-level design automation with particular focus on formal analysis as well as symbolic techniques and meta-heuristic optimization for design space exploration.
