Biography

Raffaele Calabretta has been a permanent researcher of the National Research Council of Italy in Rome since 1988, and an affiliate of the New England Complex Systems Institute since 2001. He was a member of the Yale Center for Computational Ecology, a Professor of Educational Technologies at the University of L'Aquila, and is the author of two books. In 2012 Calabretta was appointed visiting scholar at Stanford University (Center for Deliberative Democracy), and he is the developer of "doparie" (http://doparie.it), a new intra-party decision-making process.
