Biography
Doctor in Psychological Sciences (2022), Master in Educational Psychology (2017), Diploma in Adolescence and Youth (2015) and Bachelor in Psychology (2011). President of the Cuban Society of Psychology and Professor of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Havana. In this institution he teaches undergraduate (Dynamic Analysis of Behavior, Introduction to Psychology and History of Psychology) and graduate (Masters in Educational Psychology and Diploma in Social Psychology).
He is coordinator of the research line Human Development and Education of this institution, member of the Doctoral Committee, of its Scientific Council and of the Academic Committee of the Master in Educational Psychology.
He directs the national project Digital socialization through social media. She participates in other projects with research topics related to the relationship between group cohesion and performance, digital socialization in social media and digital education. He has published more than 30 articles in specialized journals and has more than 100 papers in national and international events.
He has developed several academic activities such as conferences, lectures and workshops in countries such as Argentina, Cuba, Costa Rica, Colombia, France, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Panama. Adjunct editor of the Cuban Journal of Psychology and member of the Advisory Board of the journal Temas. Member of the Interamerican Society of Psychology and the International Forum for Social Innovation in Paris.
He has received numerous awards, among them Mention for best Doctoral Thesis in Social Sciences (2022), the National Award of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba (2020), Award of the Rector of the University of Havana as the most outstanding young teacher in Social Sciences (2020).
