Biography

I am an assistant professor in the department of civil engineering at the University of North Dakota. Before joining UND, I was a postdoctoral research associate at the Federal Highway Administration's Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center for a year. I received my PhD in civil and environmental engineering from Utah State University in 2018. I also obtained my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Civil engineering from Tabriz University and Isfahan University of Technology, respectively. My main area of research has been developing, benchmarking, and implementing non-contact (Unmanned Aerial Systems) autonomous (artificial intelligence methods) for structural condition assessment of the US critical infrastructure.
