Ionic Liquids, Membranes, Gas Separation & Dehumidification
Greece

Biography

In July 2013, I completed my Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with Honors (Grade: Excellent) at the University of Patras. Following my service as a quality control chemist in the Hellenic Air Force, I pursued a Master's degree in Catalysis, Pollution Control, and Clean Energy Production at the same university. My thesis was focused on nickel modified catalysts for the production of synthesis gas from bio-gas. Continuing my academic journey, I pursued a Ph.D. at FORTH/ICE-HT, where my research focused on ionic liquid and polymeric membrane materials for the separation and dehumidification of gases. I am currently working as a research associate at FORTH/ICE-HT, where my research is primarily focused on scaling up membrane-based air dehumidification technology.
