Biography

Inês is a biomedical engineer with a strong desire for knowledge and challenges. In her master’s degree, she worked with a multidisciplinary team to improve a motorized smart walker for the rehabilitation of ataxic patients. After that, she entered in the neuroscience field, and in 2022 Inês concluded her Ph.D. in Health Sciences, which focuses on the use of artificial intelligence approaches to quantify stress on brain MRI. Currently, she works as an R&I Consultant at the Applied Research and Innovation Department of SISTRADE, an ICT company based in Porto, in which she is responsible for the healthcare initiatives of the company. Professionally, Inês is passionate about research and her personal goal is to continue using her R&D expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions that may benefit our society.
