Biography

Arnaud Ponche is associate professor in the department of sciences and technologies (Université de Haute Alsace) in France since 2005. He holds a bachelor in organic chemistry (1997), a master in physical chemistry of polymers from the university of Lille I (1999) and a Ph.D. in engineering Science from the University of Mulhouse (2003). During his postdoctoral position, he has the opportunity to join the university of Surrey (Great Britain) and to specialize in surface science and XPS Spectroscopy of polymers (2005).

His current research topics in the Institut de Science des Matériaux de Mulhouse (IS2M) focused on the influence of material properties on the behavior of molecules (proteins, peptides...) involved in biointerfaces. It includes:
• Biomolecules adsorption/adhesion
• Development of biomolecule-grafted surfaces
• Stability of therapeutic proteins after adsorption.
• Spectroscopic characterization of (bio) materials (X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy, FTIR)
