Biography

Dr. Phillip Arceneaux specializes in political public relations, international communication, public policy, and new media. Specifically, his research centers on the intersection between political information campaigns, such as public diplomacy, public affairs, propaganda, or psychological operations, and emerging applications and issues relating to Internet governance. Primarily, this involves the use of strategic information intervention to further foreign policy and national security interests through image and relationship management tactics. Based on these research areas, Dr. Arceneaux's work stretches across political communication, media effects, computational social science, technology policy, cybersecurity, international relations, and international law.

Dr. Arceneaux's industry interests surround international public relations, primarily in new and social media contexts.
