Biography
I am associate professor at the University of Montpellier and a researcher at the LIRMM laboratory. I used to be a postdoctoral fellow at the MAS Laboratory (Laboratoire de Mathématiques Appliquées aux Systèmes) at the Ecole Centrale Paris (France) between 2009 and 2012. I received a PhD in Cognitive Science from the University of Osnabrueck (Germany) in 2010. Several years before that, I obtained a MSc (or DEA as they used to call it in France) in Applied Mathematics from the University of Provence in Marseille.
My research lies in the field of Artificial Intelligence. I am particularly intersted in Knowledge and Data Integration, as well Information Retrieval for the Semantic Web. I am currently working on problems related to data linking, multilingual ontology matching, datasets profiling and recommendation for data linking, key discovery and ranking, the use of background knowledge in the matching and linking processes. My research is applied in the cultural and the biological domains. As a postdoc, I used to work in the field of multimedia semantics.
