Biography

Shelley and Steven Einhorn Distinguished Chair in Ophthalmology, Surgeon Director & Chief, Glaucoma Services, New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, Professor of Ophthalmology at The New York Medical College. He has broadened understanding of etiologies and mechanisms of glaucoma and innovation in its medical, laser, and surgical treatment. Received his B.A. from Harvard College and M.A. from Harvard University. M.D. from Albert Einstein Coll Med, residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, fellowships from Heed Foundation and NIH. A Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, he is a Fellow of the AAO, ACS, FRCOppth, ARVO. 50 Named lectures, 50 awards and medals. 1600 papers, chapters, presentations, abstracts.
