Biography

Grzegorz Foryś is sociologist and political scientist, professor at University of the National Education Commission (Institute of Law, Economy, and Administration). His scientific interests concentrate on social and political changes, socio-political movements, non-institutional politics and protests. He has recently been investigating the role of different social movements in promoting multi-functional rural development in Europe and especially in Poland from the perspective of sociology and political sciences. Other current area of interest is connected with innovative solutions in the territorial management for rural regions, experiencing the sudden depopulation and the economic decline.
