Biography

Nikola Starcevic was born on November 28th, 1984. in Belgrade, Serbia.
In 2003. Nikola graduated at Electrotechnics school in Belgrade.
The same year, Nikola enrolled Faculty of Physics at University of Belgrade, Department of Applied Physics and Informatics. Nikola received his University Academic Diploma degree in 2010. by defending the thesis: “Animation of real physical processes”.
In 2010. Nikola started his Master Academic Studies at the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade, at the Department of “Applied and Computeric Physics”. The study program had high emphasis on advanced Metrology and Simulation of Physical problems. He defended his Master’s degree thesis in 2011. and graduated with the average grade score “9.80” out of “10”.
In 2011. Nikola started his PhD studies at the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade at the Department of “Applied and Computeric physics”. In 2014. Nikola started other doctoral studies at the Department “High Energy Physics and Nuclear Physics”. In 2016 Nikola returned to his primary Department of “Applied and Computeric physics”, with average grade “9.00” out of “10”.
In Spetember 2022. Nikola succefully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Ion - crystal ranibow interaction potential in channeling".
Working experience:
Since Graduation Nikola teached physics in High School in Belgrade till November 2014.
In June 2014. Nikola applicated as Research Trainee in “Laboratory of Radiation Chemistry and Physics” at the “Vinca” Institute for Nuclear Sciences in field of Optical Radiation and Characterization of Nanomaterials.
In October 2015. after changing filed of interest of his postgraduate studies, Nikola became Research Traine in Laboratory of Physics at the “Vinča” Institute for Nuclear Sciences , University of Belgrade, where he worked on scientific project: “Physics and Development of Detectors in Experiments with High Energy accelerators”, No. OI171012. and also in field of High Energy Physics and Physics Beyond Standard Model.
In October 2016. Nikola changed his Research Trainee position in the Laboratory of Physics (010) at the “Vinča” Institute for Nuclear Sciences , University of Belgrade, on the scientific project: “ Physics and Chemistry with Ion Beams” , No. III 45006, as a Research Associate.
Nikola is curently active memeber on scientific theme "Charged particle channeling in matherials" under scientific project "accelerator science and accelerator technologies"
