Biography

Rodrigo holds a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology (Federal University of Alagoas - Brazil, 2003), a Master's in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Atmospheric Sciences in the Civil Engineering Program (COPPE/Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, 2006), and a Doctorate in Meteorology (Brazilian Institute for Space Research - INPE, Brazil, 2012).

He is a Technologist at LABREN/CCST/INPE, specializing in renewable energy resources and atmospheric transient systems. His work focuses primarily on energy meteorology, and he has been involved in wind and solar projects for the renewable energy sector since 2006. Rodrigo has extensive experience in R&D projects and serves as a reviewer for national and international journals and scientific publications.

With a solid background in Meteorology, Climatology, Physical Oceanography, Computer Science, and programming tools, Rodrigo has significant experience in enhancing the Petrobras Meteoceanographic Database, developing automated data qualification routines, and designing systems. Since 2004, he has been involved in meteorological and oceanographic instrumentation for research projects, and since 2008, he has supported offshore operations, overseeing data acquisition and quality assurance for onshore and offshore systems.

Areas of expertise include:

* Meteorology and Renewable Energy: Energy Meteorology, Atmospheric Modeling, Renewable Energy (solar and wind), Solar Radiation, Mesoscale Meteorology, Applied Climatology, Physical Oceanography (MetOcean), and Geosciences.

* Computer Science: Modeling, Operating Systems, Software Development, Database Management, and Programming Languages.
