Biography

Panchanathan Manivasagan is a Research Professor in the Department of Applied Chemistry at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), Gumi, South Korea. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Marine Biotechnology from the Faculty of Marine Sciences, CAS in Marine Biology, Annamalai University, India in 2010. My research program is mainly based on the synthesis of near-infrared (NIR)-absorbing metal nanoparticles and coated polymers and their biomedical applications such as Drug Delivery, Photothermal Therapy, Photodynamic Therapy, Chemodynamic therapy, Sonodynamic Therapy, and Multimodal Imaging (In vivo Fluorescence Imaging, Photoacoustic Imaging, CT Imaging, and MR Imaging). He has served as the Editorial Board and Reviewer of above 85 journals, and participated in many special issues of renowned journals as a guest editor.
