Biography

I am a research scientist and project manager with over 20 years’ experience developing, executing and leading research initiatives in plant health and biosecurity. My research interests and experience include the application of molecular tools to biological and ecological research questions for applied outcomes. I have multidisciplinary experience in plant pathology (virology and mycology), entomology, disease epidemiology, conventional and molecular diagnostics, species delimitation, RNAi, “omics”, population genetics, phylogenetics and the investigation of plant-virus-insect interactions.
