Biography

Dr. Reza Nejat is a board-certified Anesthesiologist, FCCM and an ECFMG-certified specialist. He was graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) as a GP and earned his Iranian national board certificate in Anesthesiology from Iran University of Medical Sciences. Continuing his academic career, Dr. Nejat achieved his fellowship certificate in Critical Care Medicine at Sina Hospital from TUMS and was fascinated to molecular medicine with the inclination to sepsis and acute heart failure. Nanotechnology, neuroscience, new therapeutical measures with stem cells and their influence on proceedings in Medicine have been the fields of his interest.
In addition to his positions as the chief of few hospitals and as an assistant professor in Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences for 8 years, he, as the author and translator, published 4 books in the fields of pediatric cardiology, nephrology, fluid and electrolyte, nutrition, metabolism, and endocrinology and contributed to “Acute Heart Failure” section of "The Comprehensive Textbook of Therapeutics", the reference textbook of pharmaceutical faculty of TUMS which could achieve Iranian Distinguished Scholarly Book Award in 2020 . He has established his website, rezanejat.com, on which he publishes his articles. Dr. Nejat delivered a few lectures in different international conferences as an invited or keynote speaker.
He has also contributed to a few articles with inclination to molecular pathobiological basis of the diseases.
