Biography

Carlos Alberto de Souza Filho was born in 1978 at the city of João Pessoa, Paraíba, Brazil . He received his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Universidade Federal de Campina Grande, Brazil, in 2003, 2007 and 2017 respectively. Since 2011 he is a professor of Eletrical Engineering Department at the Universidade Federal de João Pessoa (UFPB), João Pessoa, Brazil. At the moment is coordinator of the automation and control laboratory (LAC) and vice head of the department of electrical engineering. His research interests are in the fields of biosensores, electronics instrumentation, industrial instrumentation, embedded systems, control systems, robotic , renewable energy .
