Biography
Sayidul Morsalin is with the Energy Systems research group at the School of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. He received his PhD Degree with the thesis entitling as Diagnostic Measurement and Modelling of Electrical Insulation Based on Very Low Frequency High Voltage Excitation in 2020. He received Master of Research (MRes) degree with the Higher Distinction from Macquarie University, Australia in 2016 and the B.Sc. degree with Honours from the Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh in 2013.
Mr. Morsalin is the recipient of prestigious UNSW TFS Scholarship for his doctoral study. He also received the International Research Training Program (iRTP) Scholarship for his MRes study from Macquarie University. He was awarded with Honours and secured second top position during bachelor for excellent academic and research performance.
His research interests include diagnostic testing in high-voltage engineering, grid integration of renewable sources and energy management of distributed sources in the smart grid, machine-to-machine communication, and power systems.
