Biography

Mamadou Malado Jallow graduated from the Senegalese High School in Banjul, The Gambia, in 2012. He was then awarded a cooperation scholarship to pursue a degree in Biology at Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal. In 2015, after earning his BSc with distinction, he was selected to pursue a Master’s degree in Parasitology. For his thesis research, he joined the Pasteur Institute in Dakar in July 2017, where he contributed to several research projects. Currently, he is a final-year PhD student investigating the molecular epidemiology and transmission dynamics of influenza at the human-animal interface in Senegal.
