An award-winning Australian novelist, essayist, editor, research leader and HDR supervisor with a strong profile in the Creative Writing discipline. Associate Professor van Loon co-edits the world-leading scholarly Creative Writing journal TEXT. Her latest major publication is the critically-acclaimed The Thinking Woman (NewSouth 2019; Rutgers UP 2020).
