Biography
Anatolii I. Marushchak is human rights researcher, an information/cyber law and security expert and a co-founder and strategic advisor at the International Information Academy, an NGO conducting research and providing information and training on cybersecurity and information law in Ukraine. In addition, Anatolii used to work on the leadership positions since 2008 and nowadays proceed as a professor at the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, where he trained its staff and other members of law enforcement agencies. Anatolii authored more than 180 papers, books and theses on the subject. His briefs on information law and cyber security were used domestically by the National Security and Defense Council, the National Institute for Strategic Study, the National Academy of Legal Science, and the Security Service of Ukraine. Previously, he served as an expert for The Scientific and Methodological Commission of National Security of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and since 2019, he served as an ICT Infrastructure Specialist, ICT Adviser for the PRAVO-Police Project at the United Nations Office for Project Services. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Anti-Crisis Center for Cyber Protection of Business of Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, and since 2020 – an elected member of the Information and Cyber Security Council (educational sub-commission) of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection of Ukraine. Anatolii received his law degree, PhD and Doctor of Legal Science degrees from the National Academy of SSU in Ukraine.
