Biography

I completed my PhD at Newcastle University. I also hold an MSc in GIS (Nottingham), MSc in Spatial Planning and Environmental Assessment (Dundee), BSc (Hons) in Geography and Regional Planning (Unical), PGCert (OxfordBrookes), PGcert Research Trainning (Newcastle), Cert in ESG and Climate Change (PENN USA). Before Joining York St John University, I was a Lecturer at Oxford Brookes University- teaching Sustainability and Development; at Newcastle University – Planning Process and Postgraduate Research training- Nature of Enquiry; and at the University of Calabar I taught subjects in both physical and Human Geography (Biodiversity conservation, GIS, Population Geography, Environmental Management, etc). I have also worked as programme administrator and Director of Studies for the African Development Study Centre- overseeing CPD training across several African countries. My research interest falls within several intersections of disciplines and interests: namely, the Geographies of Sustainability, Environmental Assessment/Planning and Management, environmental morality, energy geography, Marine and Terrestrial Planning, Climate Change, Geospatial Analysis, and Biodiversity management.
