Biography

My research interests lie primarily in the area of seismo-electromagnetics, geophysical exploration, and statistical seismology. I have studied the time series of earthquake daily numbers for correlations between tidal forces and earthquakes. Second, I have been investigating relationships between geoelectric signal (self-potential, SP) anomalies and earthquakes. Third, I have also been building up earthquake probability forecasts based on geophysical data (e.g., SP data). Besides, I am currently focusing on the establishment of a physics-based model to explain the relationship between geoelectric signals and earthquakes.
