Biography

I am a research scientist with leadership responsibilities for carbon science in the Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) program of the USDA Forest Service. This program is responsible for contributing estimates of greenhouse gas emissions and removals in the forest land category as part of the United States’ commitment to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. Our team studies carbon dynamics in forest ecosystems and the land sector more broadly using field data, remotely sensed information, and models.
