Biography

Dr. Grzegorz Dudzik (GD) obtained his PhD in „Laser frequency standard 780 nm/87Rb
with Zeeman splitting of the atomic line” at the Faculty of Electronics, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (WUST) in 2009. From 2005–2010, he also worked in Lasertex Co. Ltd., as an independent constructor and later as the construction department manager, developing interferometric laser systems and iodine-based optical frequency standards. In 2011 he was promoted to the Assistant Professor position. His main research contributions are connected with new approaches of laser spectroscopy using various detection techniques, especially intra-cavity photothermal spectroscopy, lasers frequency stabilization, laser interferometry, and vibrometry, solid-state lasers, designing advanced electronics, signal processing, and programming. He is a primary constructor of the innovative, miniature gas sensor based on diode-pumped solid-state laser (DPSSL), where the photothermal effect is induced inside a microchip laser resonator structure. GD gained experience in professional work and during participation in many grants (9), mainly as a primary investigator and designer. He contributed more than 80 scientific works and 12 patents (one international). Grzegorz has commercialized several products in the field of laser technology.
