Biography

I started my PhD (projects MTM2012-32674 and MTM2015-71839-P, co-funded with FEDER funds, of the DGI, MINECO, Spain) in «Probability in stochastic processes and functional inference applied to climate change, cDNA microarrays and finance capital» at University of Granada (Spain) in 2014, under the supervision of full professor M. D. Ruiz-Medina. I stayed at Pierre and Marie Curie University - Paris VI (France), in 2015 and 2017, under the supervision of full professor D. Bosq. I have presented my dissertation on 24th July 2018, awarded with Cum Laude and freely available at the website http://digibug.ugr.es/handle/10481/52557. After that, in 2018, I obtained a position as Contract Teacher at University of Oviedo (Spain). In 2020 I got a position as Assistant Profesor at University of Oviedo (Spain). I have also been employed in different insurance and consultancy companies.

Currently, I am Assistant Profesor at Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain), and a member of Spanish Research Project «Dinámica compleja e inferencia no paramétrica» (PID2020-116587GB-I00, IP: Rosa María Crujeiras and Wenceslao González Manteiga Casais). My research interests are wide, such as big data, biostatistics, finance, functional data, machine learning, goodness-of-fit and time series.
