Biography

Eleonora De Martino is a Post-Doc researcher at the Pediatric Immuno-Pathology Laboratory of the Institute for Maternal and Child Health - IRCCS Burlo Garofolo (Trieste, Italy) since may 2022. She obtained her Master Degree in Medical Biotechnology in 2012 and her PhD in Nanobiotechnology in 2017 at the University of Trieste. During last years (2018-2022) she has worked as post-doc research fellow at the University of Trieste participating in several multicentric research projects in the field of skin cancers. During her student trainer and work experiences she has acquired skills on molecular and cellular biology; in particular the use of innovative techniques for the analysis of nucleic acids obtained from several clinical samples, ranging from fresh and archive tissues to liquid biopsy.
Currently, she is involved in the classification and characterization at clinical, molecular and functional level of subjects affected by Syndrome of Undifferentiated Recurrent Fever (SURF).
