Biography

I work as a Professor of History at the State University of Bahia. I hold a PhD and an M.A. in Social History from the Federal University of Bahia and a Degree in History from the Catholic University of Salvador. Between 2013 and 2014 I was granted a scholarship by CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development - Brazil) for my postdoctoral studies in the Department of History in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and I was also a visiting professor in the Department of History in the University of Liverpool. My research interests are focused on socialism, communism, labour movement, corporatism, Labour Law, Labour Court and trajectories of labour movement leaders.
