Biography

Dr. Dariusz Garbiec is a Deputy Director of Research at the Łukasiewicz – Poznań Institute of Technology (Poland). He received an EngD degree in Materials Engineering in 2013. The main area of his activity is the spark plasma sintering of advanced materials. He has published over 50 papers in the area of powder metallurgy. He completed an internship at Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems, Dresden, Germany. He is also an initiator of the National Workshops on Spark Plasma Sintering in Poland in the years 2018–2020 and the 1st Conference on FAST/SPS: From Research to Industry in 2021.
