Biography

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Comparative Literature and World Literature at Alisher Navoiy Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. With a strong foundation in philology and language teaching, my research focuses on children’s literature, exploring its typology, development, and the importance of early childhood reading and literacy. I am passionate about fostering a love for literature among young readers and enhancing cultural and multilingual literacy, particularly within the Uzbek context.

My academic and professional background includes teaching Uzbek language at the International Talent Academy IB School and serving as an editor for the “Gulxan” Republican Magazine for Children. I've also had the privilege of teaching Uzbek language courses to non-native speakers, collaborating on internationally-oriented language projects, and contributing to initiatives that support students with disabilities.

My work has been recognized internationally through my publications and conference participation, including the 39th International Congress of IBBY. Recently, I co-authored an A1 Uzbek language course book for foreigners, which received a patent, and I contributed to the development of “Smartbooks” for children. I have been awarded several scholarships and have completed various training programs in data research, memoir writing, and MYP language acquisition, which add depth to my expertise in both literature and pedagogy.

I am fluent in Uzbek, English, and Turkish, with intermediate Russian and elementary Arabic, reflecting my commitment to multilingual and cross-cultural education. Through my ORCID profile, I hope to connect with researchers globally who share my dedication to advancing children’s literature studies and literacy education.
