Biography
An experienced nurse practitioner, First Assistant at Surgery and Certified Bariatric Nurse, I am turning to research as the next step in my career. Having walked along side those with obesity in their journey to a healthier life, I am committed to contributing to a better understanding of the disease of obesity. Presently I am studying human energetics in the Human Integrative Physiology Lab at Virginia Tech under the supervision of Dr Kevin Davy where we are examining the relationship between physical activity levels and energy expenditure.
