Biography

X.J. Dong received the B.S. degree in aircraft design engineering and M.S. degree in solid mechanics from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 1999 and 2002, respectively, and the Ph.D degree in mechanical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2006.
He is currently a lecturer with the Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was a CSC visiting scholar from 2012 to 2013 in the University of Sydney where he has conducted research on structural health monitoring system based on guided waves. His research interests include vibration analysis, smart structures and fatigue analysis of structures.
