Biography
My research aims to provide an interdisciplinary understanding of mechanisms driving pain experience and test interventions targeting mechanistic factors to improve clinical outcomes in people with acute and chronic neuro-musculoskeletal pain.
I lead Otago Pain Mechanisms and Neuromodulation (OPaMeN) research group.
I direct Pain@Otago Research Theme (University of Otago) and am a member of various national and international professional organisations such as the International Association for Study of Pain (IASP), and the New Zealand Pain Society (NZPS).
