Biography

Eric Nziyumva is an engineer. He holds a Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the Fujian University of Technology, China, and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Rwanda. His professional background includes being an Electrical Operation and Maintenance Officer at Gishoma Thermal Power Station, Rwanda Energy Group. He also served as the electricity maintenance officer in Burera District. Through, his research contributions, he received the Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Image, Vision, and Intelligent Systems (ICIVIS2021) in Changsha, China, for his work on Electrical Load Forecasting Using Hybrid of Extreme Gradient Boosting and Light Gradient Boosting Machine in 2021.
