Biography

Experienced post-doctoral research fellow with a demonstrated track record of research, teaching and management. Skilled in nanomaterials, powder characterisations, catalysis and renewable energy. Communicated the outcomes of the research through authoring many scientific publications and delivering over 25 talks at a number of national and international conferences.
Particularly interested in:
- Bioenergy from waste (e.g. biodiesel, biofuel, etc.).
- Fabrication, characterisation and applications of nanomaterials.
- Surface functionalisation of particles (PSD from nm to mm) based on their applications.
- Additive manufacturing/3D printing (raw materials, monitoring process and quality of designed part)
- Catalysis (homogenous and heterogeneous), in particular design of novel solid acid/base catalysts for green and sustainable chemistry.
- Powder characterisations (PSD from nm to mm) and their applications in bulk performance.
- Waste lube oil re-refining, polymers and plastics recycling (e.g. pyrolysis, etc.).
- Crude oil and petroleum products (petrol, diesel, lubricating oil, heavy fuel, etc.).
- Design of multifunctional nanomaterials for enhanced oil recovery (EOR).
- Additives for improving the quality of petroleum products.
