Since 03.2022. Leading researcher in the Laboratory of Biorefinery of the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry (IWC). 04.2006 - 03.2022. Researcher, 02.2003-03.2006. Engineer, 03.1999.-02.2003. Assistant.
Under the guidance of Prof. N. Vederņikovs R&D of pre-treatment technologies for obtaining 2-furylaldehyde (furfural), xylose and acetic acid from wood and agricultural residues. As well as to reduce the destruction of cellulose in the LC residues so that it can be used as a fertilizer, as a fiber, as a raw material in biotechnological processes (ethanol, butanol, lactic acid)
