Biography

I am an Assistant Professor of Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the Technical Assistance Director for STEM+C², a Jacob K. Javits grant-funded initiative. With nearly two decades of experience in education, I have served as a gifted and talented facilitator at both elementary and secondary levels and have extensive experience teaching middle and high school science, including AP courses.

My research focuses on gifted, creative, and talented education, STEM education, sense of belonging, and teacher professional learning. I have expertise in teacher preparation, planning and delivering teacher professional learning opportunities, online professional learning, and educator toolkit development. I am dedicated to bridging research and practice ensure that my work has a meaningful impact on students, educators, and the broader field of gifted and STEM education.
