Biography

José is an Assistant Researcher and Senior Science and Technology / Project Manager at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (Portugal). Academic qualifications: PhD (ULeeds - UK), Chem. Eng. (UCoimbra – Portugal), post-graduations in Professional Project Management and in Environmental Technology. Professional qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP®). Experienced external expert (project proposals evaluation) for the European Commission (FP7, H2020), among other national and international R&D funding bodies. Participated in dozens of international and national research and innovation projects (coordinator of over 10). Currently, his research interests comprise research, innovation and project management, and professionals working at the interface of science.
