Biography
I graduated in Psychology of Social and Decision Processes and of Economic Behaviour in 2015 at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Next, I spent two semesters as a research intern at the same institution. From 2016 to 2020, I completed a Ph.D. in Psychology, Linguistics, and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Milano-Bicocca. Former PostDoc in social psychology at the University of Milano-Bicocca and Catholic University of the Sacred Hear. Currently, PostDoc in psychometrics at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo.
My research interests include:
• Investigating the psychometric properties of psychological measurements (e.g., attitudes, causal attributions, ideologies);
• The use of big data and machine learning in psychological research;
• Open science and scientific reproducibility;
• Understanding how people perceive and explain social phenomena (e.g., domestic and global economic inequality) and how this relates to psychological constructs, like well-being, attitudes toward redistribution, and behaviors like political actions;
• Exploring observational evaluative conditioning (e.g., vicarious approach-avoidance), and utilizing related paradigms as tools to form and change implicit and explicit attitudes;
• Developing and testing communication for behavioral change concerning health and environmental-related behaviors (e.g., food safety practices at home and novel food perception).
