Biography

Avery McNall started her dream career in 2012 as a new graduate nurse at CT Children's. Her goal had always been pediatric hematology/oncology and she worked as a bedside nurse in that field until 2020 when she transitioned to become the Clinical Education Specialist on her home unit. Though she loves dance parties and playing pranks on other nurses alongside patients, Avery’s true passion is end-of-life care. As a unit-based educator, she strives to empower nurses hospital-wide to provide compassionate and confident care for patients nearing the end-of-life and their families. Avery graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2012 with her BSN and is currently in her last semester at the University of Hartford to obtain her MSN in Education and Public Health.
