Biography

Matthias Menzel received a graduate engineer degree on applied physics from University of Applied Sciences Merseburg (HoMe) and Fraunhofer Institute for Mechanics of Materials IWM, Germany in 2008. Title of diploma thesis: Scanning Force Microscopy for Characterization of Soft Materials. Currently he is working for Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems IMWS within the business unit Biological and Macromolecular Materials having an expertise in Scanning Force Microscopy, Electron Microscopy and X-Ray Tomography.
