Biography

Since 1994 he has worked as a teacher of secondary mathematics. Regional adviser of mathematics during 2001 and 2004. Professor at the School of Education in the University of Costa Rica (UCR), where he was a member of the Commission's Final Graduation School of Educational Administration. Professor and researcher in the School of Mathematics in the National University of Costa Rica (UNA).
Since 2008, teaching and research Educology Division of Research and Teaching (CIDE) , he was working there as a professor, member of the Curriculum Committee and a member of the Accrediting Commission of Career Teaching Mathematics.
He has also worked as an external reader for Technology Editorial Costa Rica and the UNICIENCIA Journal of the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the UNA.
He worked for CONARE (National Council of Rectors of Costa Rica), he contributed to do the Third Report of the State of Education and it was published in April 2011.
He has a Ph.D. in Fundaments of Curriculum and a Masters in Curriculum Innovation, both programs at the University of Granada. He has improved their knowledge of English in the Centre for Modern Languages of the UGR.
