Biography

Extensive professional experience in the area of nursing in primary and community health care and reseach in the Unit of Support for Research Metropolitan North, also in the field of primary care. Currently, working as a registered nurse at the Institut Univeresitari d'Investigació en Atenció Primària (IDIAP Jordi Gol) on the Liver Screen project.

Member of the GREMSAS research group (Grup de Recerca Multidisciplinar en Salut i Societat) since 2019, accredited by AGAUR (2017 SGR 917). The research objective of the group is to deepen the knowledge about the prevalent health problems in our area, from a biomedical and social perspective. Our research trajectory is focused on three lines: determinants associated with healthy aging, interrelation between the competences of health professionals, the migratory phenomenon and diversity, and adolescence and health in schools.

Associate researcher in the IDIAP Jordi Gol projects on migration and health since 2015.

PhD student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona since 2017. Line of research: analysis of the care environment of immigrant patients in the public health system and development of a tool for the evaluation of the cultural competencies of healthcare professionals.
