Biography
I am a registered Electrical Engineer and I have completed my PhD. in Instrument Science & Technology in 2018 from the renowned Chongqing University, China. Prior to this, I have worked in the United Kingdom (U.K.) for three years as Lecturer and attained M.Sc. Networking Systems from the University of Bedfordshire. I have around ten years of teaching and research experience in the major domain of electrical engineering i.e., energy harvesting, IEEE 802x protocols, sensor design, antenna systems, MEMS circuit design, etc.
I have published my research work in well-known international journals and presented at local/international conferences. I have won funding of around 3.5 million $ from HEC, FJWU, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) cumulatively. Apart from research and teaching, I have management experience of more than four years in academia as Head Electrical Engineering Department and continuously striving to learn in related technologies/domains.
Research Interests:
I have a deep interest in renewable technology especially related to ambient available sources of wireless, thermal, and vibrational. My main research interests include rectenna design, energy harvesting devices, 5G/6G antenna design, MEMS sensor design, multiplier circuits, advanced sensor design, IEEE 802x protocols quality of service improvements/analysis, power converters, microgrid connected inverters, PLCs applications etc. During the process I have learnt 2.45 GHz Communication system design/troubleshooting, hands on experience of HFSS, ADS, MATLAB, CST, EM PRO, Altium Pro, OPNET 16.0, expertise in CPW rectenna modeling and fabrication, C++, Databases, Virtual Machines, Cloud Computing system design, Cognitive radio Networks design. I am confident and optimistic and demonstrated the ability to work alone as well as with a team with good decision-making abilities.
