Biography

Klaus-Michael Koch holds a Dr.-Ing. from RWTH Aachen in engineering and has worked as staff member at Research Center Jülich, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and at Paul Scherrer Institute in Switzerland. He was the founding director and Dean for Electronics at the University of Applied Sciences Carinthia and established the first Fraunhofer Joint Venture (Carinthian Tech Research AG) in Austria. Since 1999 he is Director of Research and Development at Technikon Forschungsgesellschaft mbH in Villach Austria. He holds lectures on risk and innovation management at Halmstad University in Sweden and at the University of Klagenfurt in Austria.
