Biography
Electrical Engineering Graduate and Undergraduate Professor at CEFET-RJ. Have experience in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Electronic Instrumentation. My area of expertise is Signal Processing applied in Neuroscience of Language and High Energy Physics. I mainly focused on the following themes: Representation and Processing of Language in the Brain, Language Acquisition with use of event-related potentials (ERP) and Pattern Recognition in Experiment ATLAS/CERN. Coordinates the Laboratory of Signal Processing and Instrumentation at CEFET/RJ and I am a member of the Laboratory of Electroencephalography and Eye Tracking Language (RSI/UFRJ); Syntactic Access (ACESIN/UFRJ) and; Neurophysiological Aspects of syntactic derivation (LANDS/UFRJ). Currently works in collaboration with the Postgraduate Program of at Linguistics UFRJ, Graduate Studies in English at UFSC, FISCLINEX UERJ; ICB / UFRJ and HUP/Adventist Hospital Silvestre. She holds a Ph.D. sandwich in Electrical Engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) (2006) and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2001), both in the area of pattern recognition in multidimensional signal. Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (1998).
